Wesley Heights is a residential neighborhood located in the Northwest Quadrant of Washington, DC. This community was developed in the 1920s by W.C. and A.N. Miller who also developed Spring Valley and American University Park. Wesley Heights features a mature canopy of stately trees and several of DC's finer single-family homes.
While dominated by upscale single-family homes, the popular town house communities of Sutton Place, Embassy Park and Westover Place and the luxury Foxhall condo development are located in Wesley Heights.
Wesley Heights is bounded by New Mexico Avenue to the east, Nebraska Avenue to the north, Battery-Kemble Park to the west and Glover Parkway to the south. Historic Foxhall Road traverses the community and is lined with many exquisite homes. Neighboring communities to Wesley Heights include American University Park, Berkley, Cathedral Heights, Kent and McLean Gardens.

It may be one of the most unusual sounding names in the DC area, but it turns out Tunlaw Road is much more simplistic than it first appears. In all actuality, Tunlaw Road is a palindrome of sorts that can be traced back nearly a century and a half.
The road gains its name from an old Washington farm and estate once referred to as Tunlaw Farm. Now commonly called Wesley Heights, the suburban estate stood near Klingle and 45th.
Its owner was said to throw some of t... Read More
