Watergate South
The Watergate South is located on New Hampshire and Rock Creek Parkway. It was the last of the three luxury residential buildings that make up the exclusive Watergate complex in Foggy Bottom to be completed in 1971. The building was designed with two parts – the co-op apartment with 257 units across 14 stories and an office building with 260,000 square feet of commercial and office space.
Among the most distinctive of the Watergate residential features are the balconies and curves and bends in the apartments themselves. Some balconies extend as far as 129 feet providing panoramic views of the surrounding landmarks.
