The Floridian

The Floridian is a modern high-rise located conveniently in the U Street Corridor.  Completed in 2008, the 8-story complex offers 118 loft-style condominium homes in one of the DC area’s most unique buildings.  Kady Development originally developed the property, constructing the building of pastel colored glass, limestone and stainless steel.  It includes two towers of condos.  Read more about The Floridian.

The Floridian Location

Found at the corner of Florida Avenue and W Street, the Floridian is located within walking distance of the U Street Metro as well as other U Street Corridor attractions like the well-known 9:30 Club, a music venue that is just down the street from the building.  It is also close to Howard University.  In addition, the neighborhood also includes a number of cafes, galleries, unique shops and dining establishments, as well as other nightclubs.  The U Street corridor stands as a shining illustration of one of the area’s best examples of urban renewal, now a vibrant and thriving part of the DC area.
