Swann's Way

Swann’s Way is a Victorian style condo community that was the former home and studio of John Cavanaugh,  the 20th century sculptor, located on the corner of Swann and 18th Street in Dupont Circle,  The buildings are distinguished by Cavanaugh’s relief sculptures based on the theme of Marcel Proust’s “Remembrance of Things Past.”  Completed in 2011, Swann’s Way houses seven renovated residences across three stories that include a number of green features, such as bamboo flooring, high efficiency insulation and Energy Star appliances.  The terrace-level units each have two entrances; one apartment has its own private courtyard.  The five remaining units include two  bedrooms and feature open floorplans and vaulted ceilings. Swann’s Way is within walking distance of the Dupont Circle Metro Station.
