Summers Grove is a townhome community of 191 residences located just inside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia, near the Van Dorn Metro.  Three builders took part in the development of Summers Grove, completing construction on the residences in the late 90s.   All of the town homes feature either one or two-car garages.  The spacious Vanderbilt and Scarborough Models, offered by NV Homes and Ryan Homes respectively, include a rear-loading 2-car garage with an optional loft and/or 4th bedroom.  Courtland Homes offers slightly smaller models with the Ashton, Chancellor and Beauford homes which feature rear-loading 1-car garages and the option of three and four levels.  Square footage on the homes ranges from 1,643 to 2,720 with most homes offering three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Floor plans are large and airy with ample closet space and hardwood floors and granite surfaces in the majority of the residences.
