Park View Real Estate

Park View is a predominately residential community located in the Northwest Quadrant of Washington, DC.  Park View is located directly north of Howard University and west of the Old Soldier's Home.  Park View draws its name from the extensive parkland that makes up the campus of the Old Soldiers Home.  These grounds were formerly not gated off and were enjoyed by the residents of the Park View neighborhood.  Read more about Park View.

Park View Overview

The housing stock in the Park View neighborhood is dominated by Wardman style row houses, many of which were constructed in the first between 1900 and 1930.  The community has a retail corridor along Georgia Avenue which runs north-south through Park View.

The boundaries of Park View are New Hampshire Avenue and Rock Creek Church Road to the north, Park Place and Irving Street to the east, Hobart Place and Harvard Street to the south and Sherman Avenue to the west.  Park View is served by the Georgia Ave - Petworth Metro Station.  Park View is located in DC's Ward 1 and within Advisory Neighborhood 1A.
