McLean Gardens
McLean Gardens is a historic neighborhood in northwest Washington, DC, that is home to more than 1000 residents living in 31 garden-apartment buildings that include condos, duplexes, flats, and lofts. The community was originally built in 1942 on the estate of former publisher, John R. McLean, as temporary housing for wartime defense workers and converted to condos in 1980. Today, the area offers residents a park-like setting minutes away from urban conveniences such as shopping, dining, and entertainment. Read more about McLean Gardens.
