Linden Gardens

Linden Gardens is a townhome community located in the vibrant Del Ray neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia.  Constructed in the late 1930s, the homes feature brick exteriors with a porch and front yard typical of the era in which they were built.  Select homes included a good-size fenced-in backyard, storage shed and as many as two parking spaces in the rear.  The majority of the homes have been renovated to maximize natural light with open floor plans, recessed lighting and gleaming hardwood floors.  Many owners have also invested in new kitchens, installing granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.  A typical floor plan spans approximately 1600 sf across two or three stories with 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom on the upper level with a den/third bedroom, half bath and family room on the first level.  

Location is a great part of the attraction of Linden Gardens.  The surrounding Del Ray neighborhood offers a number of locally owned shops, restaurants, and cafes just a stroll down Mt. Vernon Avenue providing a "small town feel" with the convenience of an urban setting.  Residents have an easy commute to DC and other VA neighborhoods via the Dash and Metrobus.  Recreation in the form of the Mt. Jefferson Park Trail and Four Mile Run Park Trail is an easy bike ride away while the YMCA and Eugene Simpson Stadium Park are within walking distance.

The closest Metro Station to Linden Gardens is the Braddock Road Station on the Blue/Yellow Line.
