Lanier Heights
Lanier Heights is a residential neighborhood located in the Northwest Quadrant of Washington, DC. The neighborhood is often considered part of Adams Morgan. Lanier Heights was established in the 1880s and saw significant development in the early 20th century when the Rock Creek Railway electric street car service was extended to this part of the District.
The boundaries of Lanier Heights are Harvard Street to the north, Columbia Road to the southeast, and Adams Mill Road to the west and south. Adjacent neighborhoods include Columbia Heights, Mount Pleasant, Adams Morgan and Kalorama. Metro Stations closest to Lanier Heights are Woodley-Park and Columbia Heights.
