Landsdowne is a wooded, planned community of 619 single family homes and town homes located in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria, Virginia.  Developed in the late 1980s by Pulte and Richard American Homes, the community offers a variety of floor plans to meet the demands of varying lifestyles. 

The single family homes typically feature 3-5 bedrooms and either a 1 or 2-car garage.  Residents can choose from three different town home models with configurations ranging from 2 and 3-bedrooms and with and without garages.  The community is amenity-rich with a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis facilities, and basketball courts. 

Landsdowne maintains several tot lots around the neighborhood connected by pedestrian footpaths and lined with mature trees and plantings.
