Landmark Mews
Landmark Mews is an established townhome community located just south of Duke Street in Fairfax County. The neighborhood sits just outside of the Alexandria boundary, despite its Alexandria zip code. The 148 Landmark Mews residences were constructed over the course of six years, starting in 1982 by three different developers who all adhered to a consistent design for one-car, garage townhouses. The floor plans for the homes -- the Byron -- and the Keats -- are unusually spacious spanning 4,600 and 3850 sf respectively. Each model stands four stories with three or four bedrooms, three full baths and two half baths. Custom finishes include working fireplaces, a deck, fenced-in yard with patio and a finished basement and loft space in select homes.
Landmark Mews is renowned for its lush landscaping and sheltered cul-de-sac location. Despite its convenient location near I-395, Landmark Mews is tucked away between nearby Stevenson Square Park and other green open spaces. A stately brick wall enclosing the community gives the feel of gated access. Residents enjoy using the short walking trails in the community for walking, jogging and exercising pets.
Landmark Mews is bordered by Stevenson Avenue and Stultz Road, 10 minutes from Old Town, 12 minutes from Reagan National Airport and approximately 20 minutes from Downtown DC. The Landmark Shopping Center with all of its shops and convenient eateries is only minutes away.
