Georgetown South of M Street

The section of Georgetown located between M Street and the Potomac River was previously an industrial section of the District and home to the city's port.  Many of the 19th-century industrial buildings in this neighborhood have been restored into luxury residential condo developments.  Preservationist efforts have been influential in maintaining the unique historic facades of many buildings to create a dramatic, architecturally-interesting neighborhood feel.

Residents of the south of M Street neighborhood in Georgetown enjoy quick access to the popular 11-mile Capital Crescent Trail for biking, jogging, walking and more.  The acclaimed restaurants and venues of Georgetown are just steps from the condo developments in this neighborhood.  Commuters enjoy a short walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro or Downtown and regional access is available via GW Parkway and the Key Bridge.
