Georgetown East Village
Standing guard like lions watching over King Arthur's Castle, a magnificent pair of buffalo on the Dumbarton Bridge welcome visitors to Georgetown's East Village. East Village is the quadrant of Georgetown that lies east of Wisconsin Avenue and north of M Street. Throughout the years a humorous rivalry has existed between the residents of East Village and their counterparts in the West Village on the other side of Wisconsin.
East Village is home to several of the grandest estates in the District including Dumbarton Oaks, Evermay and Tudor Place. East Village offers an easy walk to both Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom and the Metro Stations in these neighborhoods.
