Fairlington Towne is a pet-friendly town home development comprising 300 units located at the border of West End Alexandria and Arlington. Built as a rental community in 1953, the development was later converted to condos in the 1980s and spans 19 acres of land in the City of Alexandria.
The federal-style brick exteriors fringed with mature trees reflect the charm of nearby Old Town Alexandria. Residents can choose from one of three different floor plans ranging from 2-3 bedrooms and 11/2 - 2 baths, offering 850 to 1,005 sf of living area. The homes are multi-level with the largest configuration offering a basement/recreation room as a third level. All homes feature a kitchen/dining area with many residences debuting recent renovations such as granite countertops, hardwood flooring and upgraded appliances in the kitchens and master bath to meet the demands of modern standards. Select homes include a full-size washer/dryer on site as well as brick patios that open to a common area.
Fairlington Towne is popular with commuters because of its close proximity to Reagan Airport, I-395 and Shirlington. A network of Metrorail buses go to either the Pentagon or King Street Metro Stations.
