The Downtown area of Washington, DC has experienced a significant increase in residential population over the past decade.  Many new upscale developments have transformed the Downtown area into a cosmopolitan 24 hour neighborhood.

Centered on the Verizon Center, Downtown includes the Chinatown, Mount Vernon Triangle and Penn Quarter neighborhoods.  The transformational CityCenter development on 9th Street adds nearly 700 residences, 520,000 Sq Ft of trophy office space and 185,00 Sq Ft of retail space to Downtown. 

The Downtown neighborhood is bounded by Massachusetts Avenue to the north, Louisiana Avenue to the east, Constitution Avenue to the south and 15th Street, H Street and 16th Street to the west.  The neighborhood has public transportation access and is served by six Metro Stations.
