Wardman Tower: Instant Lifestyle Upgrade

wardman tower - 2660 Connecticut Ave NW

Two years after renovations first began, the luxurious Wardman Tower is reopening to buyers, with the nearly 90-year old landmark reimagined into some of the most expensive condos in the entire DC area. With no detail overlooked, the lavish building promotes an instant lifestyle upgrade, a place where DC history and modern conveniences blend together in harmony.

The exclusive Wardman Tower offers condos ranging from 2,200 to 4,600 square feet in size, priced from $2.9 million to $9.5 million. If sold at this price, the grand penthouse will top the most expensive DC condo sale price by nearly $1 million.

As of late March nearly half of the building’s 32 homes had already sold. The residences all offer between two- to four-bedrooms with finishes reflecting some of most luxurious in the entire region. The homes of Wardman Tower come complete with Austrian oak flooring, solid wood doors and custom crown molding.

In addition, the bathrooms offer marble tile and countertops, soaking tubs, chrome fixtures and radiant heat flooring. The chef’s kitchens come complete with quartz countertops, Henrybuilt cabinetry and Thermador appliances.

While many homes offer large balconies, the four penthouse units supply private rooftop terraces overlooking the National Cathedral and the Washington Monument. Surrounded by lush landscaping, Wardman Tower provides residents with more than three-acres of well-landscaped gardens and green space. As well, the homes are comfortably close to some of the area’s most favorable destinations, including the Kennedy Center.

High-end amenities available to homeowners include a 24-hour concierge, an on-call valet, housesitting services and housekeeping. The building also offers dining options and fitness classes.

The historic property is well known as the former home of some of DC’s most prominent, including former presidents, with an impressive address right along Connecticut Avenue. Originally constructed as a hotel annex to what’s now the Marriott Wardman Park, Wardman Tower sits on the National Register of Historic Places.
