As Union Market promises a journey through flavors from around the world, there are also pop-up artisans, such as Buffalo & Burger’s Suburbia---a summer airstream vehicle bar in front of the market, serving up cocktails, wine and beers.  The Teaism tea shop with accessories by local potters and artists, is among the vendors here featuring minimalist design, stalls without tents, and counters for eating fresh oysters and drinking artisanal sodas.  The hall is newly renovated with wide aisles and a lot of natural sunlight streaming in from walls of windows.  Lots of food samples for visitors to taste.  Many come at lunchtime to browse booths and order lunch.  Local food producers sell seasonal produce, fresh eggs, charcuterie, cheeses, meats, bakeries, half-smokes, and prepared foods.  Residents from the neighborhood, visitors and foodies will find “Cajun Meets Asian,” coffee roasters, holiday spirits, Thanksgiving and holiday foods, and assorted vendors.  Rising chefs are frequently honored at galas at Union Market.
