With large floorplans, ultra-luxurious finishes, and top amenities, three of DC’s toniest condo communities exude luxury at every turn.
Amaris, which is located in The Wharf section of DC, is one of the most highly sought after locations for luxury buyers. Right on the waterfront, the upscale condo property includes units that typically feature anywhere from one- to four-bedrooms. The units include wide-plank, white oak flooring and Italian kitchen cabinetry.
Several months ago, a unit at Amaris sold for close to $13 million, setting a new record sale price for condos in the city. It is a two-level condo with around 2,200 square feet of living space, some outdoor space, and three parking spots.
Residences at Harbourside
Residences at Harbourside is an extremely exclusive property in Georgetown that’s home to just seven total residences. The majority of them are two-level penthouse units with glass railed private roof decks overlooking unobstructed views of the rest of Georgetown, the Potomac River, and the Kennedy Center.
Inside, expect to find rich hardwoods, Carrera marble baths, and granite countertops and Miele appliances in the kitchens. In terms of amenities, the property includes a fitness facility, concierge service, some storage units, and garage parking.
Residences at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown
Prior to the Amaris sale, the priciest condo ever sold in the region was at the Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown, where a unit sold in 2022 for $11 million. Because this particular Georgetown condo at one time was two units, the combined space now includes 5,500 square feet of living space. It also offers an 1,800 square foot terrace overlooking the river.
The entire boutique property consists of just 28 residences, with floorplans starting at 2,300 square feet of space. It’s typical to find units with anywhere from two- to five-bedrooms. The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown sits within walking distance of area shops, restaurants, and nightclubs.
