The Rise of The Monarch

Available condos are currently selling, as construction on the Monarch begins to take shape in Tysons. This area is evolving from a place primarily filled with shops and businesses into a place where people are able to work, play and live in one convenient location.

Construction on The Monarch first began in 2019, but just recently moved above ground. It’s likely the first move-ins could come in early to mid 2023.

The 20-story tower will eventually make room for more than 90 private residences, with at least one-third of them already sold. While prices for units in the building start in the mid $600,000s, a handful of the condos have already sold for more than $3.5 million each, resulting in record prices for the local market.

The Monarch offers more than a dozen floor plans, typically starting with around 880 square feet of living space. Buyers can choose from a one- or two-bedroom plan, or even choose a unit with a den or three-bedrooms for more space.

Some units in the building come with direct elevator access, while most come with balconies or terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. Other common features and finishes include quartz countertops and kitchen islands, as well as Miele appliances and European cabinetry.

As well, the units come with large closets, walk-in showers and white oak flooring. Buyers can choose from such upgrades as wine refrigerators, heated floors and automated shades.

Planned amenities in the building include a swimming pool and fitness center, along with a garden terrace, a private dining room on the 20th floor and 24-hour concierge service. The Monarch is part of the Arbor Row, mixed-use development.

It includes Arbor Row Stream Valley Park, two athletic fields and a residential building called The Nouvelle. A senior living facility is scheduled to open beginning in 2023.
