Earmarked as Arlington’s next luxury condo building, The Pierce promises the enjoyment of large floor plans and upscale finishes. In all, the new condo building makes room for more than 100 units, with floor plans ranging from around 1,200 square feet to 2,400 square feet of living space.
Starting with a one-bedroom plus a den design, buyers will also have the choice of up to a three-bedroom floor plan. Some of the units are priced in the $900,000s while others are in the multi-million-dollar range.
Luxury finishes include continuous hardwoods, floor-to-ceiling windows and some direct-access elevators. In addition, the units will include contemporary-style design features, with chef-inspired kitchens, quartz countertops and some heated flooring.
In addition, future residents will be treated to such upscale community amenities as a two-story gym, a club room, a rooftop swimming pool and a dining terrace. There will also be 24-hour concierge service, onsite garage parking and some bike storage available.
Pierce is part of the Highlands mixed-use development in Rossyln. In all, there are three residential buildings, including Pierce. The other two buildings are apartment towers. The Highlands development also plans for retail space, a fire station and a park.
Perched high on the hilltop, the buildings offer views of the skyline and the Potomac. The setting is also conveniently just a short stroll from the Rosslyn Metro Station.
Buildings like Pierce are part of a growing trend to meet the demand for larger condos in the DC area. Until recently, a majority of newer condos built in the region have only included enough space for up to two-bedrooms. This left buyers in search of larger condo floor plans to look mostly in older condo developments. Pierce is just one of the new condo buildings hoping to reverse the trend with new construction, luxury offerings.
