The Adele: Boutique Downtown Condos
Just blocks from the White House, The Adele presents a selection of boutique downtown condos with a distinctive address. Formerly an office building for Planned Parenthood, the building now houses office space and residential space, with around a dozen different condo units to choose from.
While restoration crews saved the building’s historic façade they also preserved the its traditional style, foregoing the modern look that many new buildings in the area convey and instead choosing a more traditional design, with marble accents and crown molding. The building features mostly one- or two-bedroom floor plans, a place where prospective residents can choose from a more cozy condo or a spacious, luxury condo with upwards of 1,700 square feet of living space, something fairly unique to the downtown area.
Residents of The Adele are also free to enjoy fantastic views of the White House, the Potomac and the Washington Monument from the building’s rooftop terrace. With a total of three different terraces, the largest terrace is reserved for office tenants, while residents enjoy a terrace of their own, complete with a catering kitchen and wet bar.
The third roof terrace is tied to a penthouse unit, while some of the other units within the building also feature their own private outdoor space. Perhaps most unique of all, though, is the view you’ll find from select units of the building.
With some homes facing the White House, the condos of The Adele enjoy massive windows and doors and high ceilings. Standard features call for open floor plans, complete with upgraded countertops and high-end appliances. You’ll also find some custom closets and heated flooring.
Added amenities of the building range from concierge service and a gym membership, to room service and housekeeping. As well, The Adele sits within a short walk of Logan Circle, Dupont Circle, Georgetown and the West End.
