Cory Booker may trace his roots to Newark, but the senator also has an apartment in the H Street corridor. This hip neighborhood is well known for its festivals, dining opportunities and nightlife. There’s also a seasonal farmers’ market on H Street, plus you’ll find an eclectic mix of restaurants and shops.

Longtime U.S. Senator and Congressman Bernie Sanders has a home on Capitol Hill. The self-described democratic socialist opted for a cozy one-bedroom, two-bath home that’s not too far from work. He’s

There’s a new option for prospective homebuyers in Arlington, and this one has a big name attached to its sale. Former Washington Wizards player Marcin Gortat just put his DC-area home on the market, with an asking price of $1.9 million.

The news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as Gortat now plays for the LA Clippers. For prospective buyers, though, the home is a real prize, and having the NBA pro’s name attached to the sale is just part of the attraction.

Gortat originally purchased the home for just under $1.6 million in 2014. At the time, some reported the new construction home had hit a new record for its price per square foot in the area. While that record’s since been broken again by a different property, the appeal of Gortat’s

Another home in the Kent neighborhood is off the market, but it seems the new owner won’t have to move very far. Fox News Political Commentator Tucker Carlson reportedly just made an upgrade, trading in his former home for a new one in the area, priced at $3.895 million.

This marks the third home for Carlson and his wife in the Kent area over the past several years. They previously sold a home in the same general area a couple of months ago for just over $2 million. The new home sits only about a mile away from the other property, and it’s now coming out that the couple closed on the latest housing deal in late July.
