Stone Hill In Capitol Hill Makes the Most of Sacred Spaces

Formerly the site of a church, you might say that Stone Hill in Capitol Hill truly makes the most of sacred spaces. This newer construction condo property replaced a church and some townhomes a few years ago with a new boutique property of just three dozen, one- and two-bedroom condominiums.

Buyers can now choose from contemporary-style condo units generally ranging from around 500 square feet of living space to 1,600 square feet of living space. Included in that are a handful of one-bedroom plus a den units, as well as a couple of two-bedroom penthouse units.

This means a range of price points, from more affordably priced one-bedroom units, to some units priced upwards of $1 million. All condos at Stone Hill include large windows and high ceilings.

You may also find stainless steel appliance packages, quartz countertops and walnut cabinetry. In addition, it’s common to find hardwood floors and heated bathroom floors. Some of the units of Stone Hill offer the advantage of monument and Capitol views.

The property includes such shared amenities as a rooftop terrace and some landscaped courtyards. You’ll also find some parking, as well as an electric car charging station on the property.

A two-bedroom, two-bath unit recently sold at Stone Hill with a breakfast bar, two balconies, assigned parking and a storage unit included. The basement level of Stone Hill offers some bicycle storage. For convenience, Stone Hill is only about two blocks from the closest Metro station and a short stroll away from a Trader Joe’s and Eastern Market, too.

It’s also close to Barracks Row and the location of Stone Hill is only about two blocks from Pennsylvania Avenue, and even closer to Potomac Avenue. Stone Hill sits just adjacent to Stone Flats, which is a ten-unit sister project to Stone Hill.
