Perla Now Selling in Shaw
New luxury condos are now on the market in Shaw. Sales just began at Perla, one of the latest mixed-use developments coming to the area this year.
The nine-story property will eventually be home to 66 residential units and thousands of square feet of street-level retail space. Buyers have the choice of either a two-bedroom floor plan or two-bedrooms plus a den. There are also some more affordable one-bedroom or one-bedroom plus a den residences available at Perla.
This gives buyers options ranging from around 750 square feet of living space to much larger units with upwards of 1,800 square feet of space. While some of the smaller floor plans are priced starting from the $600,000s, the largest floor plans of Perla start priced well above $1 million.
The elegant new condos all feature spacious designs, and most will also have the advantage of a large private balcony or a terrace for added outdoor space. Other features and upscale finishes of the new residences include wide-plank oak hardwoods and sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows.
Future residents will also be treated to such high-end additions as quartz countertops, a kitchen island, Italian cabinetry and upscale designer appliances. In addition, buyers will find soaking tubs in the sap-like baths and a full-size washer and dryer for added convenience.
The elegance extends to the shared community space. Residents of Perla will have access to a Skytop Suite outfitted with daybeds, a fire pit and entertaining space. In addition, the pet-friendly property provides a private parking garage with room for extra storage and electric car charging stations. Residents of Perla are also sure to enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding area, from the National Cathedral to the Washington Monument.
The Shaw neighborhood is home to a number of art galleries, coffee shops and dining options, all just a short stroll away from the new Perla property. The neighborhood also includes easy access to such conveniences as area grocery stores and fitness centers.
