National Harbor is a Fun Place to Live

Sure, it has plenty of things to attract tourists, but National Harbor is also a fun place to live. This waterfront destination is home to the iconic Capital Wheel, where you can get a birds-eye view of the area, high above the Potomac River.

Of course, living in National Harbor also means never having to go far to get a great bite to eat as the area is home to dozens of restaurants, serving up everything from burgers to lobster rolls, ice cream to barbecue. In addition, you can sit back with your favorite drink as the sun goes down at the 80s-themed rooftop lounge located within Gaylord National.

There are also some boutique shops, plus there’s a nearby outlet mall, too. In addition, you’ll find opportunities for live music and concerts in National Harbor, as well as organized fitness classes and movie screenings.

Other options including strolling along the waterfront, where you can admire some murals, sculptures, and other artwork. When you’re ready to venture out and explore the rest of DC, you can always catch a water taxi and head to the National Mall, or travel to nearby Old Town Alexandria. 

With so much to do, see, and explore, it’s fortunate that there are some great options for living in National Harbor. The Flats at National Harbor is a new condo property with either one- or two-bedroom floorplans, most of which additionally include a private balcony.
