A new residential tower just broke ground in Tysons. Monarch is currently under construction, bringing with it more than 90 new condo units, set within a 20-story building on Jones Branch Drive.
The future condos are expected to range from around 880 square feet of living space to around 3,400 square feet of space. Priced starting in the $600,000s, you will also likely find some units topping $3 million. Options start at a one-bedroom unit, with some three-bedroom and penthouse units available.
This allows for around a dozen different floor plans, with only two to six units per floor of the building. All of the private condos will feature the inclusion of outdoor balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for plentiful natural light to flow throughout the homes.
Planned amenities include the addition of a landscaped terrace with a swimming pool. As well, future buyers will be treated to an indoor lounge complete with a bar area, library, fireplace, catering kitchen and business center. Plans call for the tower to open in late 2020.
The Monarch is part of the 19-acre Arbor Row site. Sitting near Tysons Galleria mall and Tysons Corner Metro station, Arbor Row also plans for a senior living community and hundreds of additional residential units.
While Monarch was originally slated as a hotel, it’s now new condos that are coming to the area, bringing one of Tysons very first condo developments. Verse is another condo building coming to Tysons, with its own planned 140 condo units. The very first building to go up was Nouvelle, which was completed just a few years ago.
Buyers in the area are treated to plenty of green space, with nearby grocery stores slated to open soon. There are also pedestrian pathways, making it easy to reach local shops and restaurants in Tysons.
