Massachusetts Avenue Heights is Where the CEOs Roam

Filled with winding, tree lined streets and beautiful homes, Massachusetts Avenue Heights is the kind of DC neighborhood known to attract CEOs, government officials and even ambassadors. With the feel of living in the suburbs, yet the convenience of sitting close to everything, Massachusetts Avenue Heights has all the qualities upscale buyers are looking for in a neighborhood.

Extremely private, it’s not unusual for homes in the prestigious neighborhood to sell for prices in the multi-million-dollar range. Some of the largest homes have been known to command prices well over $10 million.

This is partly due to the exclusivity and small size of the neighborhood itself and partly due to the large homes and private luxuries. Many of the estates in the neighborhood are extremely grand, with a great deal of square footage available for living and entertaining.

This often proves appealing to business professionals who want a home with a lot of space, but also don’t want to live too far away from it all. Homes in Massachusetts Avenue Heights come in a variety of sizes and styles, from Tudors to contemporary-style homes and Mediterranean homes dating back to the early 20th century.

Several embassies are located in the neighborhood, as well. While there aren’t any commercial properties, shops or restaurants in the neighborhood itself, the location is still close enough that homeowners don’t have to venture far.

With walking distance of Adams Morgan and Georgetown, it’s an easy stroll to the restaurants and retailers of Connecticut Avenue. The homes of Massachusetts Avenue Heights are also within walking distance of the Red Line and the neighborhood is serviced by several bus routes.

Other nearby sites and attractions include the Washington National Cathedral, which sits on the corner of the neighborhood, the Vice President’s home and the United States Naval Observatory.
