Lawrence House Coming To Meridian Hill

Soon to be completed in the fall of 2015 as construction is underway now, the arrival of Lawrence House is highly anticipated. It is a brand new luxury 30-unit residential condominium across the street from Meridian Hill Park in the Columbia Heights neighborhood in DC. The Meridian Hill condos will offer 1, 2 and 2+Den exquisitely designed residences ranging in size from 600-1500 square feet. There will be 2 penthouse units with access to their own private and separate roof decks. Lawrence House is perfectly located near the vibrant 14th Street Corridor. It is walking distance to the U Street Metro Station and one block from 14th Street, NW. Â
Meridian Hill Park is a beloved urban park located near the neighborhoods of Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan in DC. The building is the product of a conversion of an affordable apartment building. It will feature a communal Roof deck with built-in cooking facilities offering spectacular views of the Washington skyline, and a beautifully landscaped shaded garden courtyard will sit in the rear of the building for residents to entertain as well as enjoy serenity as a refuge away from the bustle of the city.
Located directly on the corner of 15th Street and Chapin Street at 2327 15th Street NW in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, the lot of the former building was acquired by Madison Investments from the Development Corporation of Columbia Heights, which owned it for 20 years. The architectural firm to design Lawrence House will be the highly regarded firm of PGN Architects, a well-known DC firm that has contributed many high-end condominiums to DC. Lawrence House will overlook the grand Meridian Hill Park. The National Park Service maintains the 12-acre park, designed and built between 1912 and 1940, since it is a part of Rock Creek Park. Meridian Hill Park is bordered by 15th, 16th, W and Euclid Streets NW and sits on a hill 1.2 miles north of the White House.
