John Sununu Sells West End Condo

Former White House Chief of Staff and conservative talk show co-host of “Crossfire,” John Sununu, sold his 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo last week in the Atlas Condominium building at 1125 25th Street, NW, in the West End neighborhood. Conveniently located, the Atlas is within walking distance to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station and a quick walk to Georgetown, George Washington University, and many shops and restaurants. Next door to the Atlas is Trader Joe’s as well as other neighborhood conveniences.
Sununu sold his West End 1,106 square foot condo that he held onto even though he left DC several years ago for New Hampshire. The sale of the condo for $809,000 in the prime West End neighborhood was $5,000 less than what he paid for it in 2005. Formerly New Hampshire’s Republican Governor from 1983 to 1989, Sununu also served as President George H.W. Bush’s Chief of Staff from 1989 to 1991. Sununu, age 75, is the former “Crossfire” co-host defending his conservative views against liberal syndicated newspaper columnist Michael Kinsey. Sununu currently lives in New Hampshire.
The Atlas is a 9-story high-rise condo building offering 141 residences with elegant floor plans, oversize windows, magnificent views of DC, generous walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, granite countertops and stainless appliances. Many homes have private balconies. Building amenities include a 24-hour manned front desk, fitness center, social room, media room, parking and extra storage.
