Many people travel to DC to visit its many monuments and landmarks, but for those who live here, it’s just part of the scenery. If you truly want to feel at home in DC with some fantastic local views, you’ll want to check out one of the residential buildings with monuments views everywhere you look.

The Bower

That includes The Bower. This high-rise sits in The Yards section of the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood. The Bower opened its doors just a few years ago, and now provides close to 140 condos.

Some of the best views can be found from the rooftop terrace of this 10-story building. The rooftop also offers a rooftop lounge with a wet bar, a fitness studio, wine storage and 24-hour concierge services. Condos at The Bower typically range from studios to three-bedroom units with penthouse-level views.

The Watergate

One of the District’s most notorious buildings still has some of the best monument views. The Watergate is a massive complex in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood. Many of its units offer large balconies, but it’s the penthouse units that come with their own rooftop terraces overlooking area monuments, the Potomac River, and more.

The Watergate additionally offers a number of on-site community amenities, plus you’ll find outdoor swimming pools, a front desk, and a doorman. Originally built in the late 1960s, The Watergate consists of six buildings.

Memorial Outlook

Memorial Outlook is yet another property with sweeping, monument views. Found in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, Memorial Outlook is a boutique building, but its floorplans are large, and its private terraces offer some sensational monument views.

Units at Memorial Outlook typically range from around 1,000 square feet to sometimes well upwards of 2,700 square feet. The building additionally offers a parking garage, a fitness center, a club room, and more.
