Cameron Park Coming to Alexandria

Dozens of new construction townhomes are coming to Alexandria with the modernly adorned Cameron Park soon to hit the market. Located in the West End, this emerging neighborhood offers the luxury of a new home, packed with the convenience of a West End address.

With around 2,500 square feet of living space, the homes come in two floor plans, each with at least three-bedrooms and at least 2.5-baths. The four-level homes also include a two-car garage.

The Irving plan provides an owner’s suite with dual walk-in closets, a roof terrace and an office on the second floor. Meanwhile the slightly smaller Gramercy plan calls for a roof terrace, loft and a game room on the first floor.

In addition, the open floor plan of the Gramercy includes a chef-inspired kitchen, including a center island and granite countertops. Possible customizations include adding in a sliding glass door, loft or fireplace.

Built up in three phases, the first part of the development provides a community park and the 66 townhomes by Pulte Homes. Meanwhile phase two from the developer, JBG Companies, will bring in a senior living center. The final phase of the larger project will offer a multi-use building, including around 300 apartments with retail space on the ground level.

Just a few minutes away from the Metro, and just minutes from I-395, the location is close to historic Old Town Alexandria and to DC, with various options in recreation and entertainment nearly at your doorstop. Cameron Park provides easy access to parks, such as the Ben Brenman Dog Park, Armistead Boothe Park, plus the Holmes Run Trail, for biking and jogging, in addition to nearby grocery stores and major shopping areas.

Filled with antique shops, boutiques, theaters and restaurants, Alexandria is known for its walk-able neighborhoods and convenient location. Along with the Cameron Park townhomes, the community features a number of 18th and 19th century buildings, with Victorian, Federal and Greek Revival architectural influence.
