2501 M Proving Popular
At home within a design originally constructed in the early 1980s for office space, the new 2501 M development is proving extremely popular in the West End, even before the first residents move in. Set for an early Fall 2017 delivery, the condos will soon top the DC area’s first Nobu restaurant on the building’s ground floor, already touted by some as perhaps the priciest restaurant ever constructed in DC.
The 59 luxury residences range from around 1,000 square feet to some of around 2,200 square feet in size, highlighted by high-end features, from white oak flooring to sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, the units offer the graceful distinction of either a large balcony or a private terrace.
With floor plans starting at one-bedroom plus a den, the building also includes larger units featuring two-bedrooms plus a den. About a third of the available new units have already sold, with some priced in the $900,000s and others in the several million dollar range, commanding a much higher median per square foot price than other available properties in the West End.
Additionally, 2501 M property amenities range from a rooftop terrace to a yoga studio and fitness center, entertaining space and valet service. As well, residents and guests are welcomed to the building by a breathtaking 18-foot high lobby, supplemented by a 24-hour desk, private dining room and catering kitchen and a club room.
The new luxury condos sit just below three floors of already existing condos. While these residences were not renovated themselves, the exterior of the entire building has undergone a facelift.
Meanwhile, the surrounding West End neighborhood makes it easy to reach area parks and shops, with Rock Creek Park and Georgetown simply a short distance away. As well, residents will also find easy access to Francis Dog Park and the Duport Circle Farmers Market.
