It’s been used as a stable, a coal yard and even a garage, but the opportunity now exists for a few lucky condo owners to live in the iconic Chapman Stables. The unique property was first built in the early 1900s.

In more recent years it was used as a warehouse. At some point in its history, the long-standing property was named a landmark, and was placed on the US National Register of Historic Places.

If you’re ready to make a move to the suburbs, you’ll probably want to put Falls Church at the top of your list. It was just named one of “America’s Most Livable Suburbs” by RenoFi.com.

The home renovation loan provider looked at more than 600 suburban areas all across the nation to come up with the list. When everything was tallied, Falls Church came in at number two.

RenoFi looked at eight different factors in deciding the top suburban areas, including median house price, median house price growth, median household income growth and median household income. Analysts also considered the crime rate, unemployment rate and average property tax rate.

Finally, they factored in the patient to primary care physician ratio. That

Now that Vice President Kamala Harris is finally in her official DC home, it appears she’s ready to give up her former digs. The VP and her husband recently moved into Number One Observatory Circle, which is where the Vice President traditionally lives.

The prestigious address isn’t the only place in DC the couple’s called home. The former U.S. Senator and her husband own a luxury condo in Westlight, and it’s now up for sale.

On the market for $1.995 million, that tops the $1.775 million the couple paid for the West End property in late 2017. At more than 1,700 square foot in size, the condo comes with two-bedrooms plus a den and two-baths.

Found on the northern side of Alexandria, the townhomes are part of the historic Sunnyside neighborhood. The area originally belonged to a wealthy African American landowner named Charles Watson.

The Watson family soon subdivided the land and called it Sunnyside. To this day, some neighborhood streets are still named after Watson family members, including Charles Avenue and Elbert Avenue.
