Arlington Forest

Unlike many other neighborhoods of the same age in the DC area, Arlington Forest takes a unique approach to its architecture. In this community, homeowners eschew teardowns in favor of more creative expansions.

Almost every home in Arlington Forest was constructed by the same builder between the late 1930s and late 1940s. Instead of tearing down the old homes and starting over though, current homeowners have expanded the homes over the years to suit their needs in this designated, National Historic District.  Read more about Arlington Forest.
