Alexandria
Alexandria, Virginia, is a historic neighborhood located just inside the beltway that at various times in its storied history has been an occupied city, a regional slave trading market, and the hometown to many famous American heroes and rebels. Today, the neighborhood combines elegant high-rise condos with rowhouses dating back to the 18th century. The cobblestoned streets in Old Town are home to buildings dating as far back as the 1600s as well as a mix of specialty shops and acclaimed restaurants that are frequent romantic getaways for metro-area residents. Alexandria is also a popular tourist day-trip alternative to the hustle and bustle of the Capitol.
While Alexandria is home to Oronoco, a luxury waterfront condo development, the area also offers some of the most affordable high-rise condo options in the DC metro area.
Alexandria is well-served by Metro Stations, including Braddock Road, Eisenhower Avenue, Van Dorn, Huntington, and the King Street stop.
