Logan Circle
Logan Circle is an upscale neighborhood in the NW Quadrant of Washington, DC. The neighborhood draws its name from General John Logan, a Civil War hero and US Senator, who briefly lived on the circle. Logan Circle, which was originally called Iowa Circle, sits at the intersection of 13th Street, P Street, Rhode Island Avenue and Vermont Avenue.
The Logan Circle Community is home to many of the most beautiful Victorian brownstones in the District. Many of these brownstones have been meticulously restored to their original grandeur. Logan Circle is served by several Metro Stations including: Dupont; McPherson; Mt Vernon; Shaw-Howard and U-Street. The boundaries of the Logan Circle neighborhood are S Street to the north, K Street to the south, 9th Street to the east and 16th Street to the west.
