The development takes its name from the Rainbow Auto Body Shop which previously called this building home for 75 years. While the body shop is long gone, many of the industrial bones remain including exposed brick and ductwork, 12+ foot concrete ceilings, commercial-grade windows and steel beams. DC's former auto row along the 1400 block of Church Street is now one of the trendiest and hippest blocks in the District.
