Hidden behind a conservative gothic revival terra cotta facade, is one of the coolest and most interesting residential buildings in Downtown DC. Mather Studios made history in 2003 as the first Downtown office building to be converted to residential use. PN Hoffman partnered with the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to deliver both market-rate lofts as well as 12 affordable artist studios. The artist studios are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Mather Studios with market-rate units on floor 4-10.
