Strivers' Section is a historic district in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The historic district includes about 430 buildings constructed in the late 19th and early 20th century.  Many of these buildings are single-family homes designed with Edwardian architectural style.

Strivers' Section is located in close proximity to Howard University and was home to many of DC's more affluent and notable African American residents including Frederick Douglas, architect Calvin Brent, Recorder of Deeds James Dacey and banker James Storum.  Today, Strivers' Section is a dynamic, diverse neighborhood and many of its homes have been beautifully renvoted and restored.

Time for a second look at the Potomac Construction Group's historic renovation in Dupont Circle at 1841 16th Street. This Victorian row house, located in the 16th Street Historic District, was designed by Nicholas Haller and originally constructed in 1890. The Potomac Construction Group renovation brings this corner at 16th and T back to life with a stunning makeover.

This project, which restored a dilapidated structure formerly known as the Dupont "Demon House," includes luxury finishes such as Pedini Kitchens, marble counters, Miele and Bosch appliances and bamboo flooring.  This location offers easy access to the Metro, dog park, Whole Foods and the shopping and dining in the Dupont, Logan and U Street Neighborhoods.

A wonderful restoration is underway at the corner of 16th Street NW and T Street in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.  Potomac Construction Group is restoring 1841 16th Street into three luxury condos with delivery scheduled for August 2010.  Luxury finishes include Pedini Kitchens, designer appliances and bamboo flooring.
