While many upscale neighborhoods have a pair of lions adorning the community entrance, residents of Chatsworth in Chevy Chase are greeted by a pair of stone unicorns.  In a continuing tribute to  the mythical creatures at the front entrance, the main thoroughfare that winds through the Chatsworth community is called Unicorn Lane.

The brick and stone town homes at Chatsworth are quite spacious with 3 BR - 5 BR and floor plans offering 2,840 to 4,428 Sq. Ft. of living space.  Each includes a one-car garages and many have brick-walled privates outdoor courtyards.  The common areas of Chatsworth feature mature vegetation in a true park-like setting.

Chatsworth is located in Chevy Chase off Oregon Avenue, northwest of Nebraska Avenue and not far from Military Road.  Residents enjoy access to Rock Creek Park which is located directly across the street.

Four homes have sold in Chatsworth so far in 2012 ranging in price from $775,000 ($175/SF) for a 4 BR / 6 BA / 4,428 SF home in need of some updating to $1,103,000 ($266/SF) for a 5 BR / 6 BA /  4,142 SF unit.  Currently, two homes are listed for sale at Chatsworth with asking prices starting at $989,000.  Here is a resource to learn more about the community and view active Chatsworth real estate listings.  Our team is available to help buyers compare and contrast Chatsworth with other upscale DC town home communities.
